LG Polls: Voting commences in Lokoja Ward A

Voting has started in the ongoing Local Government Areas election in Kogi State. The poll which holds across the 21 LGAs is for the election of chairmen and councillors.

Enthusiastic voters trooped out in good numbers at the Crowther College Polling Unit, in Ward A of Lokoja LGA.  Voting started in the unit at about 8:45 am.

A number of security operatives including hunters were on the ground to maintain peace and orderliness. At the time of filing this report, the exercise was peaceful.
