African Footballer of the Year and Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has been pulled over by UK police for over-speeding, coming into the city where he plies his soccer trade.

Maill Online said Toure was stopped by police speeding at 124mph before telling officers the club would sort it out.

The Premier League footballer was pulled over while driving his £120,000 Porsche 911 on the M6 on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old midfielder, who earns £210,000 a week but is rumoured to be on the verge of leaving City, is said to have told the police that club would deal with ‘the paperwork’.

According to The Sun, Toure said: ‘Don’t worry, someone at the club will sort this out. They will get all the paperwork.’

The Ivory Coast international, whose collection of luxury cars includes a £280,000 Mercedes Brabus, a £110,000 Bentley GT and a £100,000 Porsche Cayenne, was stopped on the motorway in Staffordshire on Wednesday night.
