Fighters of Islamic-State:

The U.S. Africa Command said on Tuesday that it killed an Islamic State Militant in an airstrike in a North-western town in Libya.

“In coordination with the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA), U.S. Africa Command conducted a precision airstrike near Beni Walid, killing one IS terrorist,’’ the command said in a statement.

It added that assessment indicates that no casualties among civilians were caused by the strike.

Witnesses told dpa that warplanes carried out an airstrike in Beni Walid targeting a car driven by an Islamic State leader called Walid Bohriba who had fought in the city of Sirte before it was liberated by the GNA.
