Police parade pastor for beheading church member for ritual initiation

The Ogun state police command has arrested a pastor of Holy Gathering Christian Evangelical church of God, Tobiloba Ipeisin for beheading and severing his church member Raliat Adebola for ritual initiation purposes in Ewekoro Local government of the state.

The suspect and his accomplice Daniel Shopeju revealed to policemen that he beheaded the victim and severed their two hands for ritual purposes.

Tobiloba Ipeisin a clergy who doubles as an accounting and commerce teacher revealed that he was forced by Sopeju and his Occultic group to join their association.

He said that the victim was killed in the process of his initiation as a member of the cult group.

Residents of Elebute, Wasinmi community Ewekoro area trooped out enmass when the commissioner of Police, Ahmed Illyasu led journalists to the uncompleted church located in the inner part of the settlement where the heinous act was committed.

Parading the suspect at the crime scene, Iliyasu said the command was able to arrest the suspect and his accomplice, after it received a report of missing person at the divisional headquarters in Ewekoro by one Adebola Saheed who reported that his younger sister, Raliat Sanni left home since March 21 and was yet to return.

The Commissioner of Police who described the feat from pain staking technical Intelligence Investigation aimed at wiping out crime in the state also appealed to members of the public on the need to be watchful.
Visibly angry residents ensured the church was razed as well as his abode.

A resident of Ewekoro, Ahmed Adegboye who spoke with newsmen urged the government to ensure that justice was given to family of the late raliat.
