The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the arraignment of the British-Nigeria boxing Star Anthony Joshua’s driver Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, in court on Friday.
The police in a release made available to newsmen on Friday by the PPRO DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi said the Lexus SUV driver, Anthony Joshua and his friends got involved in an accident on the 22nd of December 2025. The driver was charged to Sagamu Magistrate Court for over-speeding which claimed two persons live.
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to the 20th of January 2026.
“The Ogun State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the driver of the Lexus SUV involved in the Anthony Joshua accident case, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode (male), aged 46, was charged to the Sagamu Magistrate Court today, 2nd January, 2026 and the case has been adjourned to 20th January, 2026.”
