Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that unless the APC Federal Government and her agents apologise for plotting and executing evil against Rivers State, and sacking the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan they will continue to falter in governance.

He stated that as long as the APC Federal Government continues to execute evil plots against Rivers people, they will never be able to conceptualize meaningful projects.

He spoke on Boxing Day during a Special Meeting with Bolo people at the Bolo Civic Centre, Ogo/Bolo Local Government Area .

He said: “Anything you do against Rivers State will affect the entire Nigeria. When you see us cry, listen to Rivers State. Until they leave this state alone, they will never know peace.  When they try to distract Rivers State, they will never be able to conceptualize projects.

“Until they come to apologise for plotting and executing evil against Rivers State, they will continue to falter”.

He noted that despite the evil machinations of the APC, Rivers State remains one of the very few flourishing states in the country. He said APC states have gone under, grappling with the payment of salaries.

“I challenge the APC to go to their states and talk about projects, when they cannot even pay salaries.  Here we have paid salaries and pensions and we are consistently rolling out projects, even during Christmas “, he said.

He noted that the APC dislodged a son of the Niger Delta from the Presidency, only to resort to excuses for their failures.

The governor called on the Federal Government to ensure that it uses funds from the Excess Crude Account to address environmental problems in the Niger Delta, the way it is doing for insurgency.

Governor Wike  used the occasion to announce the approval of the construction of the internal roads of Bolo town.

The governor also upgraded the stool of the Amayanabo of Bolo to a Second Class Status.

Governor Wike lauded the Majority Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Evans Bipi for the major constituency project in the area.

Earlier, Chief Victor Alabo who spoke on behalf of the Chief and Elders of Bolo thanked Governor Wike for the numerous projects in the area.

He commended  the Governor  for funding the Bolo Civic Centre which is a constituency project facilitated by the Majority Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Evans Bipi.

He announced that the Bolo people have endorsed Governor Wike for a second term because of his outstanding developmental strides
