Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has issued a certificate of return to Mr. Uche Ogah as the duly elected governor of Abia State based on the ruling of Federal High Court, Abuja last Monday.

Justice Okon Abang of Federal High Court had ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Ogah who came second in Abia State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primaries held in December, 2014 after ruling that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who won the primaries and went on to win the governorship poll presented false tax information in his nomination form.
