Update: Lekan Shonde, fugitive wife-killer arrested

Mr. Lekan Shonde, on the run for the alleged killing of his wife, is now in police net.

While the police claimed that he was tracked down and arrested, The PUNCH reported that the fugitive voluntarily surrendered himself.

The fugitive had  boasted early today in an interview  that he could hide in Lagos for 30 years without being apprehended.

The Punch, quoting  police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, said  he will be transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation at Panti.
