Residents of Kano State who gave President Muhammadu Buhari the highest vote in the March 2015 election , proved today that they are still solidly behind the president and his team despite the problems in the land.

The show of support was evident when Vice President Yemi Osinbajo  arrived Kano on Saturday to perform the foundation laying ceremony of 2,000 housing units  initiated by the APC government of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The vice president said at the event that President Muhammadu Buhari was happy with Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje for fulfilling the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign promises.

“We are very happy with this project because housing scheme policy is part of APC manifesto and campaign promises which Kano State has just started,’’ he said.

According to him, the APC-led administration is committed and determined to provide Nigerians with good governance.
