Cyril Dum Wite, radio sports presenter, and Special Assistant to Gov Nyesom Wike of Rivers State was reported to have been arrested by the military today.
He was found in possession of army uniforms, reports said. The report could not be independently confiremd.
His arrest was one of the infractions reported by citizen journalists on the state and national parliamentary elections in the volatile Rivers state today.
There were also reports of shooting in some parts of the state, despite the security blanket.

There was a physical fight in Ward 15 Phalga LGA and voting materials for the 15 units of Agbonchia ward 8 in Eleme LGA were reportedly hijacked by gunmen.
However, materials that were hijacked by thugs in Unit10, Omuokiri Aluu were recovered by soldiers who chased the hoodlums.
