Unfortunately, Buhari is yet to react to the Senate ultimatum as he jetted out of the country today to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Summit in Malta and from there, Paris, for the UN climate summit.
The ultimatum was given when stakeholders in the petroleum sector led by the Permanent Secretary, Jamila Shu’ara appeared before the Senate committee on downstream petroleum.
Chairman of the committee, Senator Uche Ekwunife made the position of the Senate known on the issue during the meeting.
