*Condoles with former First Lady Aisha Buhari

Katsina state Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday, offered special prayers for the repose of the soul of immediate-past President Muhammadu Buhari, who died in a London hospital and was buried in Daura, last Tuesday.

Governor Radda was joined in prayers by other dignitaries at Dumurkul Juma’at Mosque.

Shortly after the Juma’at prayer at Dumurkul Central Mosque, a special prayer session was held in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Governor  Radda joined family members, traditional leaders, and political dignitaries to pray for the peaceful repose of the late President’s soul.

Also present were the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk; elder statesman Mamman Daura; Musa Haro; Yusuf Buhari; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Yahaya Daura; and others.

Katsina Zonal All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta; Mai’adua Local Government Chairman; Katsina Local Government Chairman; and Funtua Local Government Chairman were among those who also participated in the solemn prayer, paying their respects to the departed leader.

Governor Radda condoles with former First Lady Aisha Buhari

Katsina state Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday, paid a condolence visit to former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, over the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Governor Radda, upon his arrival in Katsina from Abuja, proceeded with his entourage to Daura to pay a condolence visit to the former First Lady and wife of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, Hajiya Aisha.

The visit was part of the Governor’s continued show of solidarity and respect to the Buhari family, following the passing of the former Nigerian leader.

During the visit, Governor Radda offered special prayers, seeking God’s forgiveness and mercy for the soul of the late President Buhari, and prayed that the Almighty reward him with Jannatul Firdausi.

In his entourage were Hajiya Aisha Buhari’s brother, Alhaji Musa Halilu prominent businessman, along with   other top government officials who accompanied the Governor to offer prayers and condolences.
