Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo

Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo emerged unhurt Saturday after his SUV had a burst tyre on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The former President just left a church programme organised for the 10th year remembrance of his late wife, Stella Obasanjo and was on his way to the airport before the incident happened, the TVC News reported.

Report has it that one of the rear tyres of his Luxus SUV burst along the road and created tension as to the safety of the former President but he stepped out unhurt.

It could not be ascertained whether the former President sustained injuries but he has since travelled out of the country.
