Brown, Ex-British prime Minister in talks with Buhari, Obasanjo

President Muhammadu Buhari and former British prime minister, Gordon Brown had met in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations 70th General Assembly.

Former Nigerian leader, Olusegun Obasanjo also attended the talks. Brown and Buhari had struck a relationship when Buhari delivered a lecture in Chatham House, London before the March elections.
