Juventus lone goal was scored by Morata in the 55th minute.
The Spanish giants have thus completed a treble this season, having earlier won La Liga and Copa del Rey.
Barcelona with 68 % held superior possession of the ball for most of the 96 minute encounter, with Juventus having to work hard to stop the Spanish attack from banging more goals.
Rakitic, the Barca midfielder who opened scoring at four minutes said after the final whistle: “It’s a final, it’s normal that we had to suffer. They got into the game as it went on. We deserved the win. I hope we don’t stop here and next year there’s more to win. We want more.”
