The Buhari Volunteers have put President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda under the periscope: their verdict is that the president has not done well.
The group has launched newspaper, digital media and video campaign to expose the hollowness of the agenda less than three weeks to the February general elections.
They scored President Jonathan on economic management and security.
In a press statement, the group recalled president Jonathan’s promise in 2011 that he would pursue a transformation agenda and that Nigeria under his watch would be a global force to be reckoned with, the crown jewel in Africa’s rising star.
“Instead the country has been plagued by falling standards of
living, an increase in poverty, a ballooning $50 billion debt figure,
and unemployment at an all-time high. By all measurable standards, this
administration has been an unmitigated disaster.
” So Nigerians needs to ask: Is this transformation?”, the group said in a statement
