APC Kwara loses secretary

The Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the death of its General Secretary, Prince Yemi Afolayan.

A statement issued by the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Sulyman Buari, said “Prince Yemi Afolayan passed away this Friday after a brief illness,” adding that funeral arrangements would be announced later by the family.

He said: “We sympathise with his immediate family in this moment of grief and we urge them to find solace in the fact that Prince Yemi Afolayan lived an eventful life.

“He will be remembered for his unflinching loyalty to the APC, contribution to the development of Kwara State as a parliamentarian and his huge contribution to humanity and mankind.

“Indeed, Kwara State has lost a worthy son. We pray for the repose of his soul and we sympathise with his entire family, all APC members and the people of Kwara State.”
