The last has not been heard of events that happened during the December 10 legislative rerun election in Rivers State as the detectives of Department of State Service, DSS, has arraigned one Ibibo Garah Jumbo before a Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt over alleged impersonation.
In the two count charge filed against him, the secret police had alleged that Garah-Jumbo had disguised himself as DSS personnel during the just concluded  election and defrauded the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Degema Local Government Area of the State over N2million.
The suspect pleaded guilty when the charge was read to him in the court presided over by Chief Magistrate S.D. Andrew-Jaja.
Counsel to the DSS, C. EZE had earlier told the Court that the accused until his arrest, was parading himself as a personnel of DSS deployed from Abuja for the December election, thereby defrauding his victims.
Chief Magistrate, Andrew-Jaja remanded the accused in prison custody before adjourning till January 30 for further proceedings.
