There’s a New offensive posture designed against Terrorists

I held an emergency combat audit with the Service Chiefs at the Ministry of Defence Headquarters to confront the recent brazen terrorist attacks.

While the full scope of our tactical adjustments and movements must remain classified to safeguard our personnel and ensure mission success, several decisive measures can be shared publicly.

The Service Chiefs have been tasked with an immediate and forceful recalibration of military operations across multiple theatres in various regions to dismantle the networks of terrorists and bandits threatening our nation. They are exercising direct, on-site command to ensure effective coordination and relentless pressure on these criminal elements.

We have completed a hard-hitting review of our national military strategy, ensuring we act swiftly and decisively against all threats, with a stronger offensive posture designed to take the fight directly to these elements wherever they attempt to operate, alongside a strengthened framework that guarantees every operation delivers real results.

Despite the challenges, we are recording significant progress, neutralizing core commanders of terrorists, and systematically disrupting their operations to weaken their capacity to threaten national security.

I can assure Nigerians that our efforts will continue relentlessly until these criminals are fully dismantled.
