Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Olayide Adelami
The Governor of Ondo State , Lucky Aiyedatiwa has given a lie to insinuation in some quarters fueled by a video claiming that his deputy’s job was on the line and he would soon be removed. Speaking at a public function, Aiyedatiwa described Dr Olayide Adelami as , ‘Worthy amiable deputy governor ‘ saying the speculations about removal was a tissue of lies.
The Governor’s Statement:
Mr Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami, Thank you for holding forth for me yesterday, when I had to travel. Worthy amiable Deputy Governor. Some people are spreading one fake video. Those people want to hear words.
“They claimed they want to remove the deputy governor. For where? Where did they want to remove him (deputy governor) from? Don’t answer them please; they are only looking for relevance. That can’t happen because I’m also a Prophet of God.”
