I recently met with the Chairman and GMD of Geometric Power in Aba, and my experience was truly impressive. Upon arrival, I noticed the hotel I stayed at was powered by electricity, not generators. Curious, I asked the hotel staff and locals about the electricity situation, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

The Chairman, Professor Bart Nnaji, exuded a visionary drive and entrepreneurial spirit that left me inspired. Despite his international recognition, he was humble, simple, and kind. During our meeting at Geometric Power’s headquarters in Osisioma Industrial Layout, he warmly attended to me, dressed simply, and spoke softly.

I expressed my admiration for the team’s achievements and how they inspire young entrepreneurs like myself. The GMD, Mrs. Agatha Nnaji, shared a brief yet inspiring story of Geometric Power’s journey. I also met the Aba Power Managing Director, Ugo Opiegbe, and the communication consultant, C. Don Adinuba, a former Commissioner for Information and Public Affairs in Anambra State.

The transformation of Aba’s power sector is nothing short of remarkable. From the days of epileptic power supply, Geometric Power has brought about a revolution, providing 24/7 electricity to the city. This feat has undoubtedly boosted the local economy, improved living standards, and increased productivity. It’s a testament to the impact of private sector investment and innovation in addressing Nigeria’s infrastructure challenges.

Professor Nnaji and his team treated me with great dignity, despite being young and meeting  me for the first time. Their success is a testament to the power of hard work and determination, inspiring entrepreneurs across Nigeria that nothing is impossible with belief and effort.
