Why Nigerian Embassies Abroad Now Have Poor Funding

There are two verified reasons why the 109 Nigerian Embassies abroad have been with held findings, investigations have revealed:

  1. Unauthenticated and unverified retirements from personnel abroad, coupled with astronomical costs of ambassadorial exigencies, against the current trend of mopping up domestic revenues.
  2. ⁠Current replacement of paperwork to digitalisation

However, ambassadorial postings will soon be done as the Nigerian economy has now been stabilised by the current government

At the moment, charges are currently acting heads of missions, until substantive ambassadorial appointments are effected by the Tinubu administration

Efforts are ongoing to give a facelift to all Nigerian Embassies worldwide, impeccable sources further revealed.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, is passionate on the move as all modalities are now at the top level to clear all backlogs of authentic areas and beef up the outlook of Nigerian missions abroad.
