Starting today, the Red Line Rail Service will expand its capacity, offering five morning and four evening trips daily, up from two-morning trips. This enhancement ensures better commuting options for residents travelling between Agbado and Oyingbo.

With a total journey time of just 50 minutes from Agbado to Oyingbo and reduced waiting times of two minutes at each station, the Red Line delivers efficient and reliable transportation, making daily commutes faster and more convenient.

This milestone, according to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his X handle, “reflects our commitment to improving mobility across Lagos. The arrival of three new train sets will further boost the Red Line’s capacity, reinforcing its role as a vital part of our integrated transport system.”

He added: “The Red Line isn’t just a train service—it’s a game-changer for commuting in Lagos. We are building a city where connectivity drives economic growth and improves the quality of life for all residents.

This is Lagos, and we keep moving.”
