U.S.-based wellness professional, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Johanah Napoleon, widely known as “Ms. Jay,” recently shared valuable insights for wellness and healthcare workers. Speaking during her annual in-house seminar, Napoleon emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and maintaining a positive bedside manner when interacting with clients.
As the founder and owner of Jay Luxury Spa and Wellness Center, Napoleon uses this seminar to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment among her employees. Her focus is on promoting cooperation over competition, believing that a united team is key to delivering the best service.
“Instead of competing amongst themselves, I believe workers could cooperate more, knowing that they are working towards the same goal, which is the best interest of the spa by providing the best services available to clients,” said Napoleon during the seminar. She highlighted that a cooperative approach not only enhances workplace harmony but also ensures a higher standard of care for clients.
“The customer is always right, and the best way to show them they are appreciated is by making sure they are given premium care and attention,” Napoleon added, noting that staff conflicts can undermine the quality of service.
Jay Luxury Spa and Wellness Center, founded by Napoleon, is dedicated to providing a sanctuary for holistic rejuvenation and self-care. The spa is well-known for creating a space where clients can experience complete and total relaxation.
Beyond her work in wellness, Johanah Napoleon is the founder of the Johanah Napoleon Foundation, a charitable organization committed to supporting the less privileged, school children, and widows through various programs and intervention initiatives in Haiti, Ghana, and Nigeria. Her dedication to both wellness and philanthropy continues to make a significant impact in her local community and beyond.
