Three persons, including a couple simply identified as Mrs and Mrs Inebo, have been kidnapped Fugar axis of Etsako Central local government of Edo State.
The victims were alleged to have been kidnapped on Sunday at about 7pm along Fugar-Ekperi Road, while returning to their village after attending an event Fugar.
It was however gathered that the third victim escaped in the process of moving them from one location to another, while the couple remains in captivity.
The State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Moses Joel Yamu, has confirmed the incident.
He said the operatives are presently combing the bush to ensure that the victims are rescued unhurt.
“The police are on the trail of the kidnappers and will soon effect the release of the victims and arrest the perpetrators,” Yamu said
