The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo, has continued to keep vigil at his ward 1, unit 3 in Indinrio Primary School, Okaigben Ewohimi, as voting continues.

Recall that voting commenced at about 11 am, instead of 8.30 am stipulated by INEC. The officials had arrived at the unit at about 10.30.

Voting time had to be extended to make up for the delay.

As at 4 pm, voting was still ongoing.

The PDP candidate who voted at about 12.10 pm, insisted on seeing the process to a logical end.

He insisted on staying back to protect the vote and to ensure that nothing goes wrong.
