Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ajayi Agboola has employed his aides sacked by his boss, Rotimi Akeredolu as his personal staff.
Governor Akeredolu had ordered sack of all the aides of his deputy who has defected from the All Progressives Congress to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP early on Tuesday.
The Governor first sacked Agboola’s spokesman, Mr Allen Sowore before ordering the sack of all the other aides.
But the disenchanted deputy governor has now appointed Sowore as his Media Adviser.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Babatope Okeowo, said all the sacked aides of the Deputy Governor have also been reappointed as his personal aides.
The deputy governor also advised all the aides to return all government properties in their possession to the appropriate quarters within 24 hours.
“We also wish to inform the people of Ondo State and the general public that the deputy governor would speak about all contending issues at the appropriate time,” Ajayi said.
