Several people injured in Netherlands shooting

Several people have been injured by gunfire in the city of Utrecht, Dutch police said on Twitter on Monday.

Emergency services tweeted that the shooting took place in a tram.

Several rescue helicopters had been dispatched.

However, further details of the incident have not yet been made public.

Emergency services were at the scene of the incident, and police asked the public keep the roads in the area clear
