• Omoyele Sowore: African Action Congress

Activist, publisher of Saharareporters and the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, won his polling unit at RCM Primary School, Apoi Ward II, Unit 005 in Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State in the election conducted on Saturday.

Sowore defeated the two main candidates, President Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party.

Sowore, who expressed satisfaction with the voting process and the turnout at the polling unit scored 208 votes at the end of counting of ballot at the unit. The APC presidential candidate scored 82 votes while the PDP flag bearer scored 11 votes
