Ogun 2019: APC candidate visit Obas, kicks off campaign

The paramount ruler of Remo kingdom, the Akarigbo of Remoland, His royal majesty, Oba Babatunde Alayi and the paramount ruler of Egbaland ,His royal majesty Oba Adedotun Micheal Gbadebo have endorsed the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate Prince Dapo Abiodun to be the next governor in the forthcoming 2019 election.

The endorsement occurred during consultations of the governorship candidate with the monarchs on his aspiration and to seek for their support and their blessings at their various palaces before the flagging off his campaign for the election.

Both the paramount rulers, however, enjoined the governorship candidate and his running mate, Engr Salako Noimot not to renege in their promises if eventually they were elected.

Earlier in his speech while reading out his manifesto to the council of Obas in their various palaces, Prince Dapo Abiodun , highlighted his policies and plans to be implemented when he becomes the next governor of the State.

Some of his plans as stated by the governorship candidate of APC include free education up to the junior school, provision of standard health care, provision of industrial parks, increase in IGR, even distribution of infrastructures and many more.

The APC gubernatorial candidate reiterates that his administration will build on the success of the incumbent Governor, Senator ibikunle Amosun and ensure he put the good people of Ogun first.

While pleading for support for himself and his deputy from the paramount ruler, Dapo also used the medium to solicit support for President Muhammed Buhari for his second term ambition tagged Next level for Nigeria

Also at the royal endorsement are royal fathers from Onirolu of Irolu, Oba S. A. A Adeiga, Ewusi of Makun Sagamu, Oba Timothy Akinsanya and Oludotun of Idotun Ikenne, the Odunayo Solari all spoke on behalf of other Obas and blessed the governorship candidate to show support for his aspiration based on being a true son of the soil.
