Two APC, one AP legislators, defect to ADP in Oyo

Three members of the Oyo State House of Assembly today, during Tuesday plenary defected to the Action Democratic Party, ADP. The decampees are: Kehinde Oloya of the Accord Party, Sefiu Adekunle and Wunmi Oladeji, both of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The legislators notified the house through letters addressed to the Speaker of the House, Mr Olagunju Ojo and the letters were read on the floor of the house during the plenary.

With the defection, APC and ADC have 14 members each while ADP has three members and one member of the PDP.

Reacting, Speaker Ojo who wished the defectors success in their new party described the defection as the beauty of democracy.
