
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) National Headquarters, Abuja has redeployed Corps Commander Joel Dagwa to serve as the new Sector Commander of the corps in Niger.
This is contained in a statement on Tuesday in Minna signed by Route Commander Raji Egigogo, Public Education Officer (PEO) of the corps.
Egigogo said that Dagwa was redeployed to Niger from the corps headquarters while the erstwhile sector commander in the state Corps Commander Yusuf Garba was transferred to Kano.
“The outgoing sector commander appeals to the members of the public and all road users to give the new Sector Commander maximum cooperation in road traffic administration and management,” the statement said.
Egigogo appealed to motorists to continue to respect traffic rules and regulations toward reducing road traffic crashes to the barest minimum in the state.
The erstwhile sector commander in the state, Garba, thanked stakeholders for their support while serving as the sector commander.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Garba served a year and four month as sector commander in the state.
