35 ships conveying petrol, others to arrive Lagos

Not less than 35 ships carrying petroleum products, food and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports, from June 13 to June 26, says the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
It said eight of the 35 ships will sail in with petrol, two with diesel, while a ship will sail in with aviation turbine kerosene.
The remaining 24 ships are carrying buckwheat, base oil, a container carrying different goods, frozen fish, diesel, soya beans, bauxite, bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar and empty containers.
According to NPA, eight of the ships have arrived at the ports and are waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, diesel and petrol.
