Just in: Gunmen kill another 7 in Rivers

Another seven persons were shot dead in Egbeda community by masked gunmen in Emohua local government area of Rivers State in early hours of Thursday.

The killings followed earlier attack by gunmen which led to the death of not less than 17 people in Omoku, in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni local government area of Rivers about four days ago.

Reasons for the random killing of the persons, including a lawyer recently called to Bar is yet to be known at press time.
