
The Ogun State Water Corporation has completed the relocation of water pipes at Mokola/Elega in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State following the construction of a fly over bridge.
The Corporation’s General Manager, Engr. Monsurat Agboola, while speaking in an interview with newsmen on the development at the site, noted that the pipes were underneath the bridge before construction but had to be relocated, adding that though the agency ensured that the people of the area still accessed water supplies during the period yet it was not adequate.
Engr. Agboola affirmed that with the latest repairs and relocation of water pipes, everyone in the area could now have access to water supplies, assuring that the agency would continue to fix pipelines where road constructions were ongoing to make life comfortable.
“Water is a very important aspect of life and therefore we cannot afford to have scarcity. We will always ensure that pipes affected by the on-going road construction in the state are being attended to promptly,’’ she assured.

One of the residents in the area, Mr. Wale Junaid commended the corporation for its prompt attention at fixing the affected pipelines.
