Professor Ibrahim Garab, the Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Monday confirmed that Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi State who have been at the centre of certificate scandal in the past one week actually graduated from the school.
The Vice Chancellor spoke at the investigative hearing of the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges on Monday. Garan said the Senator changed his name to further clear the air on the different names on the certificates paraded by the Senator.
“From records, Mr. Melaye “formerly known as Daniel Jonah Melaye” graduated from ABU with Third Class BA Geography in 2000,” the Vice Chancellor was quoted by online newspaper, Premium Times as saying
