Former Delta State Governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, arrived Abuja this morning from London. He is on his way to his hometown, Oghara, Delta State, right now, according to his close associate.
The former Governor was jailed in London on fraud charges totaling nearly £50m
According to BBC, the ex-governor agreed to be deported after serving half of his 13-year sentence for fraud totalling nearly £50m (about N19.462.224.748) in December, 2016.
He was jailed in the UK on April 2012 for stealing the funds mostly from the coffers of Delta State government.
