Both chambers of National Assembly on Tuesday condemned the overnight raid on the residences of judicial officers as well as the arrest of some judges over the weekend by the Department of State Services, DSS.
The call by some lawmakers in both chambers that Lawan Daura, the Director General of DSS should be summoned to explain reason for the action was rejected by majority of members. The House of Representatives set up a committee to probe the invasion.
