It was supposed to a photoshoot to remember – and it was – but for all the wrong reasons!
Bride-to-be, Jessica Chinyelu Ezeanya, 28, from Dallas, Texas had made herself look stunningly beautiful for her fiancee, Hilary Anibowei, 36.
She had gone ‘all out’ when it came to her hair and makeup. She’s picked various outfits and had even set aside a number of wigs to use during the shoot, that would see her taking on different hairstyles.
Hair-raising: Jessica Chinyelu Ezeanya, 28, from Dallas, Texas was having some engagement photos taken alongside her fiancee, Hilary Anibowei, 36. when a gust of wind caught her wig and blew it right off of her head
Unfortunately, one wig seemed to have other ideas, after a gust of wind caught it at the perfect angle and took it right off of her head.
She told ABC News that the whole wig incident caught everyone by surprise.
‘At the end of the day, in the very last outfit that we took pictures in, my photographer was like, “Okay, I want you guys to just let loose,”” she recalled.
Without warning, her hairpiece just flew away.
‘We cracked up laughing,’ the bride-to-be said. ‘That was the highlight of the day. After that photo, the photographer really didn’t want to take any more shots.’
Thankfully, Jessica’s future husband managed to see the funny side of it all as the pair fell about laughing.
“It was such a fun time especially when my wig fell off trying to capture the perfect shot. We laughed and my boo just picked up my wig like nothing ever happened and we kept it moving! Can’t wait to say I do to this man!’ Jessica wrote on her Instagram page.
Jessica says she wasn’t embarrassed by what happened because he husband has seen it all before – including her, without her wig.
The professional engagement photos were very important to the couple because they’ll be featured heavily at their December wedding in Texas.
The pair plan on having a number of the photos on display for guests to view at the ceremony and party afterwards.
The future bride says she is looking forward to becoming a married couple with Hilary whom she engaged last September. after dating him for more than five years.
