An eighty year-old man has told Nigerian troops that Boko Haram militants have killed all his children.
The gaunt man, identified as Ibrahim Matuk was met in Shaltimari Village, in Borno state by troops of 29 Task Force Brigade as they continued clearing Boko Haram footholds in north east Nigeria.
The elderly man said he suffered untold hardship in the hands of the Boko Haram terrorists, while in the group’s captivity.
The statement by army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman did not indicate how many of the Matuk’s children were killed by the Boko Haram militants.
