Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said the hijacker of EgyptAir flight MS181 is Seif Eldin Mustafa. He is Egyptian and he is still holding out.
The former identification given was that he was Ibrahim Samaha, an Egyptian-American professor of veterinary medicine, at the University of Atlanta.
The latest report now is that the hijacker wants Egypt release an unspecified number of female prisoners.
