Former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu has called on all Nigerians to use the Easter season to intercede on behalf of Nigeria so that the hand of calamity will be turned away and peace and prosperity will Reign in the land.
Tinubu particularly urged all Christians to pray for the President and the present administration in obedience to the biblical injunction that prayers would be offered for all those in the position of authority.
” Nigeria is at a point of redemption and we all as a people must hold steady. In our prayers, contributions and sacrifices all Nigerians must remain focussed in building a Nigeria we can all be proud of.
The message of Easter is that of peace and compassion. A message that the impossible can become possible. That what is dead can be made to live again. Nigerians can learn from this. May all that is dead in our national life begin to work again because it is the people that are the engine of development”
Tinubu prayed for peace to reign in all homes and in Nigeria.
