Nigerian troops on several fronts in Nigeria’s north east, have been recording more successes in flushing into oblivion the Boko Haram terrorists.
In Musari village, Nigerian troops belonging to 153 Task Force Brigade, had a shootout with the rebels, killing 58 of them.
But a Nigerian soldier paid the Supreme sacrifice, according to army spokesman, , Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman.
Outside losing a gallant soldier, Nigerian troops recovered from the rebels 52 motor cycles And 2 hand grenades. Bags of food were recovered.
On another front, troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade also cleared Boko Haram elements from several settlements.Among them are Bogozor, Kolomi And Abukarti.
The mop up operations continue.
