The gunmen who kidnapped the Head of Administration of Tai local Government area in Ogoniland of Rivers State, Ezekiel Otogwung, about a week ago are yet to make contact with neither the family nor the council.

Otogwung  was abducted by unidentified gunmen last Saturday along Rumuolumeni road in Port Harcourt,the Rivers State capital.

Meanwhile the chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE in Tai local government area Barikpune Nbane has called for his unconditional release.

Barikpune Nbane,while appealing to the abductors to set him free said his abduction has affected the official functions of the council.
