Sunshine Stars FC sack coach, Technical Director

The management of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) has sacked both coach Samson Unuanel and Technical Director Henry Abiodun, both of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure.

Sunshine Stars Media Officer, Wahab Bankole, said the sack was inevitable due to wrangling between both men.

Kayode Olujoungbe of Sunshine Queens has now been drafted to take over as an interim coach, pending the appointment of a new substantive head coach.

Bankole said the appointment was with immediate effect.

“The internal wranglings which has affected the players and team’s performance have not justified the huge investment of the state government and expectations of the people of the state,’’ he said.
