Although President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a probe of the Killings by Fulani herdsmen, youths from Agatu LG, part of Idomaland in central Nigerian state of Benue, further drew attention to their problems, with a street protest in Abuja today.
Scores of people have been killed as herdsmen attack farmers. The owners of the land had fled to Otukpo and other safe areas of the state, as the herdsmen left their towns and villages desolate.
Police Inspector-General, Solomon Arase said today that he would visit the area for an on – the – spot investigation.
