Messi sends autographed jerseys to Afghan boy

Murtaza Ahmadi, the Afghan five year old  whose photograph  showing him wearing a Lionel Messi jersey made of plastic bag and a black marker,  now  proudly has  the real thing.

Thanks to Messi, five time world footballer of the year.

The Argentine captain and Barcelona striker sent the boy  autographed jerseys.

They were delivered to the boy  at the headquarters of  UNICEF in Afghanistan.

Messi himself is a  Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF .

The boy got Messi’s Argentine and Barcelona shirts.

Murtaza  lives  in  the province of Ghazni, Afghanistan.

Recently a photograph of the boy  went viral on social media. It showed him  with  an Argentine national team  shirt made ​​with a plastic bag with celestial poles and white, and with a fibrón. It  had  “Messi” and number 10  written on it.
