Here are the faces of the six  pirates who hijacked a diesel oil carrying vessel MV Maximus. The  Panama flagged ship is said to be owned by a UAE company.

The pirates were arrested by Nigerian Navy in a night time operation near Sao Tome.

The bandits targeted the vessel for its 4,700 tons of diesel fuel and seized it last week on 11 February, off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The ship was finally rescued on Saturday night about 310 miles (500 kilometres) southwest of Lagos. Photographs by AP.
