Bulgarian club, PFC Levski Sofia have completed the signing of Tunde Adeniji from Sunshine Stars of Akure on a three-year deal.
According to Goal.com, Adeniji trained with the Blues on Wednesday evening and is expected to address the media today.
Adeniji was in blistering form in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season scoring 16 goals for the Owena Waves in their failed bid to emerge as league champions.
The 19-year-old forward – also represented Nigeria at the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda, and he will now continue his career in the Bulgarian topflight till 2019.
“I want to confirm to you that I have joined Bulgarian side Levski Sofia,” Adeniji told Goal.
“This is one of the biggest things to have happened to me as a footballer and I know this is the right step to move forward in my career.
“Levski is a great club where I will do my utmost to develop myself and to make my contribution to the team’s success.
“The way I’ve been welcomed by the players, the staff and the club’s employees was great. This club seems the right place for me to show my skills and character,” he concluded.
