Peter Okoye, half of the PSquare musical fame, has sacked his brother, Jude, as manager, with immediate effect.
In a torrent of tweets today, he said the team reserves the right to sack the manager and that family business can really be a pain in the ass.
“Pls who so ever makes any transaction with Northside Entertainment or Jude Okoye on Psquare’s behalf does so at their on risk”, Peter warns.
The announcement shocked many of the fans, over one million following Peter on Twitter. Some interpreted it as a sign of rift in the P-Square group itself. Some want the family dispute settled amicably.
In the midst of the controversy, Jude replies that his brother needs prayers.

For those who questioned Peter’s choice of medium to sack his brother, Peter has an excuse, that shows that the plan has been on the cards for four years and that it has just reached its climax:
Some ask why on social media. Do I have a choice! Insisting you must remain Psquare’s manager? And that your decision is final? #Psquare4ever

And he clarifies that he has no crisis with his twin brother, only the brother-manager
Psquare is not breaking up. I stand here to defend Psquare 100%

And for those that will start saying Psquare is breaking up. We are not. Just that the management needs to go.
